The X-Files is a short cinematic scene set in a stylized rural environment under a moonlit sky. The story unfolds through visual contrast and minimal dialogue, as two officers encounter a crashed alien craft in the middle of a cornfield. What begins as a quiet investigation slowly escalates into a surreal first-contact moment filled with tension, pulsing light, and atmospheric mystery. Built entirely in Unreal Engine 5 using Sequencer, the project focuses on environmental storytelling, cinematic pacing, and visual composition. The scene was finalized with post-processing and editing in DaVinci Resolve, highlighting a dramatic shift from cold moonlight to an overwhelming green glow that nearly fades to white — leaving the viewer with more questions than answers. 🎮 My responsibilities: environment design, lighting and color direction, camera setup, character animation, visual effects, post-processing, and full cinematic editing.
